WINTER 2019-2020 (Main Season)

Rookies

  • Open to Boys and Girls in Kindergarten and 1st Grade
  • Different Levels depending on ability:
    • Level 1: Beg. Rookie who has played 2 or less seasons (6 Skills & Drills, 3 Games)
    • Level 2: Int./Adv. Rookie who has played 3 or more seasons (4 Skills & Drills, 5 Games)
  • 9 total sessions led by a professional Coach/Trainer. Includes both FUNdamentals training and games:
    • Level 1: 6 Skills & Drills, 3 Games
    • Level 2: 4 Skills & Drills, 5 Games
  • Option to choose site and time based on ability (choose one):
    • FUL Level 1: Sundays 12:30 to 1:30 pm at the Fullerton Downtown Community Center
    • FUL Level 2: Sundays 1:45 to 2:45 pm at the Fullerton Downtown Community Center
    • YL Level 1: Saturdays 2:30 to 3:30 pm at Calvary Chapel Yorba Linda
    • ANA: TBD

Divisions

    • Division 4 (Boys and Girls 7th/8th Grade)
  • Regular league play with same coach/ team for entire season
  • 8-10 Sunday games
  • End of season Playoffs and Finals
  • End of season Medals/ Trophies
  • Individual and team pictures
  • Option to try-out for ALL-STARS team(s) to compete in March Madness Tournaments
  • Option to practice indoor (based on availability and at a additional cost to the team)
  • NO MANDATORY SPONSORSHIP OR FUNDRAISING REQUIRED
  • Multiple branches to choose from :
    • ANA/CYP/LP: Anaheim, Cypress, La Palma
    • BP/FUL: Buena Park and Fullerton
    • BREA/LH: Brea and La Habra
    • PLA/YL: Placentia and Yorba Linda
  • Mandatory player evaluation/draft: October 27 at Troy High School (Time TBD)
  • Practicce starts: week of November 11
  • Opening Ceremony: November 22 (Tentative)

BYT (Bring Your Team)

  • 4 Divisions:
    • Division 1 (Co-Ed 2nd Grade)

  • Team must already have their own players. Cannot recruit from Divisions league.

Mandatory Annual Membership Fees:  FAS requires an annual membership fee which allows the player to participate in all FAS events/activities and insurance for the entire year.  The year covered is September 1 of the current calendar year to August 31 of the next calendar year. Annual membership fee is $18.


Mandatory Rookie FASPACK Fee:  All Rookies are initially required to purchase a Rookie FASPACK which includes a shirt, and short, a pair of socks, and a drawstring backpack, all the necessary essentials to start their basketball career.  Once purchased, the Rookie can use these items from one season to the next unless the Rookie either outgrows or needs a replacement. Rookie FASPACK is $40.


Mandatory Divisions FASPACK Fee:  All Divisions players (i.e. 2nd to 8th grade) are initially required to purchase the Divisions FASPACK which includes a matching jersey and short, a pair of socks, and a drawstring backpack.  Once purchased, the player can use these items from one season to the next, unless the player outgrows the uniform or advances to the next division. Divisions FASPACK is $60.


PAYMENT TYPES:  FAS only accepts credit cards and cash.  Credit card payments will incur a $2.00 transaction fee.  Cash payment can be accepted at walk-in registrations.


REFUND POLICY:  Refund for Winter Season registration fee may be granted if requested before November 1 and approved by FAS.  If approved, a $35 processing fee will be deducted from the Winter Season registration paid amount.

No refunds allowed for any other fees including but not limited to annual memberships, FASPACKs, attire, basketballs, gym times, etc.
